Missionary Jubilaires to be Feted in Ocean Grove, NJ Sept. 28


Vocal harmony collectors and historians par excellence Charlie and Pam Horner are hosting a gospel concert to honor one of Asbury Park, New Jersey’s greatest gospel groups: the Missionary Jubilaires.  The concert is a fundraiser to benefit the Asbury Park Historical Society.

Starring:
·         Frankie Davis (lead tenor of the world famous Golden Gate Quartet and former lead of the Soul Stirrers) backed by the Mighty Stars of VA
·         King David’s Harp, fabulous vocal quintet from Portsmouth VA
·         Tyron McAllister, world-traveled gospel recording star from Asbury Park
·         Sons of Thunder, young vocal trio from Asbury Park
·         Quiet Storm, popular Philadelphia acappella group, singing a gospel set
·         Spiritual 5, great acappella gospel quintet from South Jersey
·         Brothers In Christ, great gospel vocal group from South Jersey

Appearances by former members of the Missionary Jubilaires who may or may not sing
Opening devotions by Rev. Brenda Boone of Portsmouth, VA
Special surprise guests expected
